What You Should Know:

–Sunrise Group, a leader in sleep health technology, today announced a $29 million funding round to expand Dreem Health, its digital sleep clinic, across all 50 states.

– The round was led by Eurazeo, with participation from Amazon, WE International, Kurma Partners, Vives Fund, Majycc, Namur Invest, Seventure Partners, Investsud, Sambrinvest, Noshaq, IMBC and InvestBW.

Addressing the U.S. Sleep Crisis With Technology and Accessible Care

Founded in 2015, Sunrise Group® is a pioneer in sleep health technology, developing advanced hardware and software to detect, monitor, and treat sleep disorders. The company powers Dreem Health®, its U.S.-based digital sleep clinic, which connects patients directly with licensed sleep specialists for diagnosis and treatment from home.

More than 70 million Americans live with sleep disorders, yet there is only one sleep physician for every 43,000 people—the equivalent of a sold-out Citi Field relying on a single doctor. This shortage forces millions to wait months for care or go untreated, while preventable sleep issues silently drive up chronic disease and healthcare costs.

Dreem Health is tackling this crisis by making expert sleep care accessible, affordable, and covered by insurance. From sleep apnea to insomnia, patients can now receive comprehensive sleep care remotely, without the barriers of travel or long wait times.

Scaling Nationwide Reach and Next-Generation Technology

With new funding, Sunrise Group will:

  • Accelerate Dreem Health’s nationwide expansion, bringing digital sleep care to more patients across all 50 states.
  • Broaden its range of clinical services to cover the full spectrum of sleep disorders.
  • Invest in next-generation sleep technology—innovative hardware and software that enhance the detection, monitoring, and treatment of sleep disorders.

“We have more sleep data than ever before—from smartwatches to connected mattresses—but sleep quality hasn’t kept pace,” said Laurent Martinot, CEO and Founder of Sunrise Group. “Trackers alone can’t solve the problem. Real progress happens when technology connects with care. The future of sleep health isn’t just another app or device—it’s a connected pathway. That’s where Sunrise and Dreem Health are stepping up.”

Sunrise Group has already built a strong foundation for scale:

  • Services now available in all 50 U.S. states with nationwide regulatory clearance.
  • Contracts with major insurers, covering 170 million+ patients.
  • A multidisciplinary team of 75+ experts, including licensed sleep specialists, clinicians, engineers, and researchers.

In just one year, Dreem Health has grown from a small California-based clinic into a nationwide digital sleep care provider, supported by referring providers and partnerships with Daybreak, Moona Health, and DrLullaby. Together, these collaborations enable Dreem Health to diagnose and treat the full spectrum of sleep disorders in a single, connected care pathway.
