What You Should Know:

– ZeroEyes, a leader in AI-based gun detection technology, announced today the deployment of its solution at Lane Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery.

– This marks the first private healthcare practice to adopt ZeroEyes’ proactive security technology.

Addressing Growing Security Threats

With the rise of gun-related violence in the United States, healthcare facilities face increasing security challenges. While maintaining an open-door policy for patients and visitors is essential, it also increases the risk of violence. Lane Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery is taking proactive steps to address these threats by implementing ZeroEyes’ AI gun detection and intelligent situational awareness software.

How ZeroEyes Works

ZeroEyes’ technology is layered on existing digital security cameras. If a gun is detected, images are immediately shared with the ZeroEyes Operations Center (ZOC), a 24/7/365 operation staffed by trained veterans. If the threat is confirmed, alerts and actionable intelligence are sent to law enforcement and local staff within 3 to 5 seconds.

ZeroEyes’ AI gun detection solution offers a valuable tool for healthcare facilities to proactively address security threats. By implementing this technology, Lane Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery is setting a new standard for safety and security in the healthcare industry.

“Private healthcare practices often face significant financial constraints when it comes to implementing security measures,” said Mike Lahiff, CEO and co-founder of ZeroEyes. “ZeroEyes serves as a valuable force multiplier, allowing facilities to reduce costs on security personnel while maintaining effective monitoring. Lane Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery has demonstrated a forward-thinking approach to healthcare security, and we hope other facilities will follow their lead.”
