Addressing the “Dementia Neurology Desert”

Over 20 states in the country are classified as “dementia neurology deserts,” meaning access to specialist care is severely limited. Tragically, an estimated 61% of dementia cases and a staggering 92% of mild cognitive impairment cases remain undiagnosed. This lack of access and awareness leaves millions vulnerable to debilitating brain health conditions.
