Practice Fusion Mobile AppCloud-based EHR platform for doctors and patients, Practice Fusion has launched mobile apps of its EHR optimized for iOS- and Android-based tablets. The native apps will empower its community of more than 112,000 active health care professionals with even more flexibility to securely access their EHR and patients’ medical records.

Practice Fusion is the only Meaningful Use-certified EHR with complete continuity and functionality across 3 separate platforms: desktop, iOS and Android. With over 20,000 requests, this launch signifies another key product developed based on the Practice Fusion user community’s feedback.

Key Facts about the iOS and Android release include:

– Enables Practice Fusion’s community of more than 112,000 active health care professionals to access a native application on their iOS or Android based tablet.

– With 43% of physicians using a mobile device in their practices, Practice Fusion enables providers with the option to choose which platform best suits their workflow preferences and needs.

– Requested by over 20,000 health care professionals, Practice Fusion’s agile technology platform is engineered to respond based on physician input to provide the best user experience.

The flexibility and connectivity options of Practice Fusion’s free EHR platform has led to it being confirmed in a recent study by AmericanEHR as the de facto EHR for 1-3 clinician offices. With optimized navigation for landscape and portrait devices, the new iOS- and Android-based applications feature all the same capabilities already valued by Practice Fusion users, including e-prescribing to over 70,000 pharmacies and connecting with over 550 lab and imaging center partners.

“This launch further extends our position as one of the most dominant, rapidly innovating EHRs for doctors and patients,” said Ryan Howard, Practice Fusion, CEO and Founder. “In addition to having the largest patient-provider community in the country, Practice Fusion is the only EHR available where providers have the ability to quickly and securely access their free EHR across multiple platforms. This independence empowers providers by giving them the choice to use whichever device or platform that best helps them provide quality patient care.”
