HIMSS15: Mobile Health Events Schedule & Resources

HIMSS is increasingly showcasing how mobile technology is a platform, a strategy, and a solution by providing insights into how to engage both patients and providers, with  the lessons learned  that are critical to driving behavior change and efficiencies.

At HIMSS15, mobile health events and resources offer attendees the opportunity to learn from subject matter experts and leaders. Here is the list of mHealth events at HIMSS15 and resources:   

Sunday, April 12:  HIMSS15 kicks off with a focus on mHealth during pre-conference symposium on Sunday, April 12.

Monday, April 13- Wednesday, April 15: HIMSS Knowledge Center, Booth 8368: To learn more about HIMSS’ initiatives in mobile and connected health, visit the HIMSS Knowledge on the exhibit floor, where the road to the 2015 mHealth Summit begins.

Tuesday, April 14, 1:30-2 p.m. CT – HIMSS Spot: The HIMSS 2015 Mobile Technology Survey indicates an increasing trend of healthcare organizations embracing mHealth, and using it to engage patients in their care. Learn more about the results of the survey at this session.

Wednesday, April 15, noon CT: One of several HIMSS case studies, Duke’s Apple HealthKit Experience session shows how one provider uses mobile health tools in patient care.
