Healthcare revenue cycle software provider FinThrive has named Brandon Burnett as its Chief Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Officer. The move brings 25 years of provider-side operational experience directly into FinThrive’s executive ranks as the company expands the use of artificial intelligence across hospital billing and patient access workflows.
In the newly created role, Burnett will bridge the gap between software development and the day-to-day realities of hospital finance teams, guiding product strategy across patient access, charge integrity, and contract management. His mandate centers on ensuring FinThrive’s AI platform, FinThrive Fusion, delivers measurable financial results—specifically targeting denial reduction, lower cost-to-collect, and accelerated cash flow for provider organizations.
Bringing Provider-Side Scars to Healthtech R&D
Burnett’s appointment comes at a time when hospital CFOs and revenue cycle directors are navigating steep staffing shortages, rising payer denial rates, and widespread platform consolidation.
Before joining FinThrive, Burnett served as Vice President of Revenue Cycle at Community Medical Center. His career also includes senior leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente, where he oversaw regional patient financial operations and helped guide national revenue cycle strategy.
“I’ve spent more than two decades on the provider side, feeling firsthand the friction that comes when technology doesn’t quite fit the way revenue cycle teams actually work,” Burnett said. “What drew me to FinThrive is its AI capabilities and the impact it is already making for revenue cycle teams. Joining this organization gives me the chance to sit on the other side of that equation and help build solutions with those same frontline realities in mind.”
FinThrive CEO Hemant Goel emphasized that grounding software design in real-world provider experience is critical as AI tools move deeper into core billing operations: “Brandon brings a unique vantage point to this role as a former provider, and that’s exactly the kind of leadership our customers need as we help them navigate what’s next in revenue cycle management.”
