Definitive Healthcare Unifies Claims, KOL, and Provider Datasets via Conversational AI
Definitive Healthcare has launched an early adopter program for a new AI-powered healthcare intelligence platform, inviting select health systems, life sciences companies, and commercial healthcare vendors to participate ahead of a planned general availability release in late 2026.
The program addresses a persistent operational friction point in healthcare go-to-market strategy: the delay between gathering raw healthcare data and converting it into commercial execution. While commercial teams routinely maintain access to disparate databases—covering medical claims, physician registries, facility structures, and consumer demographics—synthesizing these feeds traditionally requires extensive manual SQL querying, custom data science resources, and fragmented analysis workflows.
Conversational AI, Multi-Dataset Integration, and Commercial Execution
The new platform layer integrates Definitive Healthcare’s core data assets into an interactive, conversational interface:
- Conversational Query Infrastructure: Enables users to run natural language queries across complex market relationships, provider networks, and patient care journeys, bypassing manual query development.
- Unified Dataset Synthesis: Combines provider profiles, facility organizational structures, Atlas All-Payor Claims, Key Opinion Leader (KOL) networks, organizational affiliations, and consumer data into a single query engine.
- Commercial Workflow Drivers: Designed to accelerate market sizing, optimize sales territory alignment, surface key decision-makers, and identify patient leakage patterns to preserve health system network integrity.
Feedback gathered from early adopters across the health system, pharmaceutical, and medtech sectors during the initial access phase will inform product refinements ahead of the broader enterprise rollout later this year.
“Definitive Healthcare has been using AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to create proprietary healthcare intelligence for years,” said Srinivas Attipalli, Head of AI at Definitive Healthcare. “This platform is the next step in that journey, giving customers a new way to explore the intersections of markets, providers, organizations, patients, and the people who influence healthcare decisions.”
