What You Should Know:

– Aeroflow Health, a pioneering healthcare company specializing in the delivery of medical products and services, has announced a new partnership with AlohaCare to provide patients with easier access to essential medical equipment across Hawaii.

– AlohaCare is a non-profit health plan founded by Hawaii’s Community Health Centers, primarily specializing in Medicaid insurance for underserved patients on Oahu, Kauai, Molokai, Lanai, Maui, and Hawaii Island. As the second-largest health plan in Hawaii, this collaboration allows Aeroflow to serve a significant portion of the state’s Medicaid enrollees, which total more than 400,000 children and adults.

Streamlining At-Home Care for Key Health Conditions

The partnership ensures that AlohaCare members who manage conditions related to maternal health, sleep, incontinence, or diabetes have the necessary durable medical equipment (DME) to support their care safely and independently.

Aeroflow’s patient-centered approach removes complexity by offering patients a seamless experience:

  • Streamlined Verification: Patients receive instant verification of what their insurance covers.
  • Direct Access: Patients get direct access to the medical equipment their doctor has prescribed.
  • Convenient Delivery: Equipment is delivered directly to their homes, enabling health management on their own schedule.
  • Specialist Guidance: Patients are connected to specialists for guidance and support.
  • Multilingual Support: Multilingual assistance is provided to ensure language is never a barrier for Hawaii’s diverse communities.

According to Amanda Minimi, VP of Health Solution Marketing & Operations at Aeroflow Health, the partnership prioritizes accessibility and convenience. “In today’s complex healthcare landscape, access to durable medical equipment ensures patients have the practical tools and support they need to manage health conditions right at home,” she said.
