FemTech: Willow Launches Wearable Breast Pump with App Control Available Exclusively Through Insurance

What You Should Know:

– Willow Innovations, a leader in the Femtech space, has launched Willow Sync™, its newest wearable breast pump.

– The Willow Sync is designed to provide high-performance pumping technology at a lower out-of-pocket cost by being available exclusively through insurance providers. This new device builds on the award-winning design of the top-rated Willow Go®, offering a seamless pumping experience with a focus on comfort, mobility, and discretion.

Designed to Give More Moms Access to Its Award-Winning Pump Technology

Willow Sync is designed to optimize milk output and comfort with 20 levels of hospital-grade suction. It fits completely in-bra, with a customizable tube that can be discreetly tucked away, giving mothers the freedom to move while pumping. It is the only wearable pump to feature a unique one-motor, two-cup design, allowing moms to pump on one or both sides. The device also includes two 5-oz. Splashguard Containers to prevent spills.

The pump is app-controlled through the Willow App, which allows users to track output and access expert advice from lactation consultants and Ema, a conversational AI trained in women’s health. This focus on accessibility is a core part of Willow’s vision, according to CEO Sarah O’Leary, who states that mothers no longer need to sacrifice quality and performance for affordability.

“From the start, Willow has redefined innovation in our category with one vision in mind: to support and empower moms without compromise. A core part of this vision is to offer women greater access to our groundbreaking innovations,” said Sarah O’Leary, CEO of Willow. “Most women in the U.S. obtain their breast pumps through insurance providers and DMEs, and we created Sync to demonstrate that with Willow, mothers do not need to sacrifice quality and performance for affordability.”

Expanding the Brand’s Maternal Technology Portfolio

The launch of Willow Sync is part of a broader expansion to drive accessibility in maternal technology. It joins the brand’s growing product portfolio, which also includes the recently unveiled Willow Wave. Priced at $34.99, the Willow Wave is the first and only wearable manual breast pump, featuring a fully in-bra design, a quiet ergonomic handle, and hospital-grade suction. These new products continue Willow’s history of delivering pumping freedom without compromise or leaks, a journey that began with the invention of the first wearable breast pump in 2017.

The Willow Sync is currently available for pre-order exclusively through U.S. Durable Medical Equipment (DMEs), including Aeroflow, Byram, and Babylist Health.
