Peerbridge Health Raises $7M, Appoints MedTech Veteran Dan Reuvers to Board

What You Should Know:

– Peerbridge Health, a company transforming how heart disease is diagnosed has closed its latest fundraising round, raising $7M to support the commercial rollout of its new product.

– Additionally, it has submitted its next-generation wearable, the Cor MDx™, for FDA 510(k) clearance and appointed medical-technology executive Dan Reuvers to its Board of Directors. It is expected to launch later this year, pending regulatory clearance.

Strengthening Leadership and Expanding Sales

The company has appointed Dan Reuvers to its Board of Directors. Reuvers brings over 30 years of leadership experience in the medical technology industry, having served as CEO of Tactile Medical and president of the neuro division of Integra LifeSciences. Chris Darland stated that Reuvers brings “exactly the kind of experience we need right now as we move into this next phase,” and that his proven ability to scale innovative health technology companies will make him an integral part of the team.

Expansion Plans

In addition to its leadership appointments, Peerbridge Health has expanded its sales team across three regions with plans to broaden its launch beyond these initial areas. This expansion will focus on bringing hospital-grade cardiac diagnostics into primary care and cardiology clinics with the goal of catching disease as early as possible, which will reduce emergency room visits and improve patient outcomes.
