What You Should Know:

– DLH Holdings Corp. has been awarded a task order valued at up to $46.9M by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to continue providing a comprehensive suite of information technology services to the agency’s Office of Information Technology (OIT).

– The contract includes a base period and multiple options, totaling a three-year period of performance, and will support approximately 7,000 end-customers.

Comprehensive Suite of Digital and Cybersecurity Solutions

As part of this new effort, DLH will leverage its expertise in digital transformation and cybersecurity to support the NIH’s critical health missions. The company’s services under the contract include enterprise IT systems management, cybersecurity, software development, and cloud computing. DLH will also design and implement a cloud migration strategy, building on partnerships with leading commercial cloud service vendors like Azure, AWS, and Google.

DLH’s work will focus on delivering full project management life-cycle solutions to modernize IT, improve the customer experience, and optimize business processes. Diane Yarnell, President of Health IT at DLH, stated that the company will “continue to test, validate, refine, and incubate bold new ideas and innovation” on behalf of its customers. This includes integrating emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, to support the NIH’s vital work. The award underscores DLH’s role as a key partner in driving innovation and digital transformation within the federal health sector.
