What You Should Know:

– Aledade, the largest network of independent primary care in the United States, has announced its acquisition of the Michigan-based value-based care operations of CCA Holding Company, Inc.

– The move deepens Aledade’s presence across the state and empowers more physicians to succeed in a healthcare system focused on patient outcomes and quality.

Strengthening a Statewide Presence

The acquisition includes an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and a Physician Organization operating in Southeast Michigan, along with all related employees who will join the Aledade team. This expansion builds on Aledade’s significant existing footprint in the state, where it already supports over 1,500 physician partners across more than 180 primary care practices and community health centers.

The strategic move follows Aledade’s acquisition last year of Medical Advantage, another Michigan-based company specializing in practice performance improvement and value-based care solutions. Together, these acquisitions solidify Aledade’s commitment to supporting independent physicians throughout Michigan.

“We are excited to welcome these physician-led organizations into Aledade,” said Ahmed Haque, chief performance officer at Aledade. “This move further expands value-based care in Michigan, empowering more independent primary care organizations to continue providing high quality care in communities they serve.”
