Sutter Health and Aidoc Partner to Drive System-Wide AI Integration in Clinical Care

Sutter Health has announced a multi-year strategic partnership with Aidoc to advance the integration of artificial intelligence across its health system. This collaboration positions Sutter as a leading hub for clinical AI innovation on the West Coast and reflects its commitment to pioneering technologies that improve patient care outcomes.

At the heart of the partnership is Aidoc’s enterprise-grade platform, aiOS™, designed specifically for health systems. The platform:

·       Enables real-time coordination across departments

·       Supports a wide range of clinical use cases

·       Integrates embedded governance and real-time outcomes tracking
These features aim to accelerate clinical adoption, enhance performance, and deliver measurable improvements in care delivery.

The partnership is characterized by a clinician-driven, co-development model that:

·       Facilitates the creation of novel AI-powered care pathways

·       Advances peer-reviewed research

·       Establishes specialized centers across key service lines
This approach ensures that AI tools are safe, effective, and aligned with real-world clinical needs.

Sutter Health will serve as Aidoc’s flagship innovation partner on the West Coast, a role that underscores the strategic depth of the collaboration. By investing in the infrastructure, scale, and agility needed for system-wide transformation, the two organizations are working to enable the next wave of AI capabilities—including the safe and effective deployment of foundation models.

Through this initiative, Sutter Health reaffirms its vision of leading in healthcare AI by fostering high-caliber innovation through partnerships, pilot programs, and convenings such as its recent AI Summit. The ultimate goal remains clear: to integrate advanced insights into care delivery and improve outcomes across the enterprise.
