Zorro Secures $20M for AI-Powered Benefits Adminstration Platform

What You Should Know:

– Zorro, a next-generation benefits administration platform using advanced technology to reshape how America’s workers plan for and purchase healthcare secures $20M in Series A funding led by Entrée Capital, with participation from existing investors 10D and Pitango.

– The company is pioneering the use of Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements (ICHRA) combined with an AI-driven platform to move employers away from traditional one-size-fits-all group plans toward a more flexible and personalized model.

Alternative to Conventional Group Coverage

As healthcare costs continue to skyrocket, Zorro offers a viable alternative to conventional group coverage. The platform empowers employers to offer personalized and affordable healthcare plans by shifting to a defined contribution model, similar to a 401(k), which provides budget predictability without sacrificing quality.

“Healthcare is not one-size-fits-all, and with skyrocketing plan costs, we’re past due for a viable alternative to traditional group coverage,” said Guy Ezekiel, Zorro CEO and Co-Founder. “Zorro is building a new future where health and wealth planning are integrated, giving employers budget predictability without sacrificing quality and individuals the autonomy to make smart, personalized decisions for themselves and their families.”

How Zoroo’s AI-Powered Platform Works

Zorro’s end-to-end solution modernizes employee benefits for all stakeholders:

  • For Brokers: Proprietary tools allow brokers to compare existing group plans with ICHRA in real-time to make recommendations that offer cost control and greater flexibility.
  • For Employers: Zorro helps employers set a fixed budget and allocate tax-free stipends for employees to purchase their own coverage.
  • For Employees: An AI-powered, data-driven decision engine allows employees to compare hundreds of plans. The platform factors in unique healthcare needs and financial risk tolerance to help them select the best bundle of health plans.

Recention Traction/Milestones

Zorro has demonstrated significant traction and effectiveness since its inception.

  • Enrollments have surpassed an 800% year-over-year increase for 2025.
  • Over 75% of employees enrolled through Zorro selected insurance plans based on platform recommendations without any human intervention.
  • On average, Zorro clients have saved over 20% on premiums compared to traditional group plans while offering employees more personalized coverage.
