Dr. Peña brings 20 years of clinical and leadership experience from across the healthcare ecosystem. A board-certified internal medicine physician, she previously served as Medical Director for Oscar Health and held Chief Medical Officer positions at Nurx, K Health, and Vault Health, where she led teams in delivering high-quality, tech-enabled care to diverse populations. Prior to her work in the private sector, she served as a U.S. Army physician and a White House physician.
In her new role, Dr. Peña will oversee all aspects of clinical care delivery, ensuring regulatory compliance and the highest standards of patient care. She will also guide product development, expand protocols for new service verticals, and mentor a growing multidisciplinary clinical team. As a key advisor to internal and external stakeholders, her leadership will be instrumental as Wisp accelerates its growth.
