What You Should Know:

–  Youlify, a physician-founded AI company rebuilding the financial backbone of healthcare, today announced $4.3 million in seed funding to help hospitals and doctors get paid faster and more accurately.

–  The platform replaces traditional billers with AI and provides an end-to-end revenue cycle management platform that completely automates coding, claims, and denial recovery. The round was led by Brett Queener at Bonfire Ventures, with participation from Top Harvest (former GV partners), Illia Polosukhin (co-founder of NEAR Protocol), and Dan Roth (Distinguished Professor at University of Pennsylvania & Chief AI Scientist @ Oracle).

Youlify: AI-Powered Revenue Cycle Transformation for Healthcare Providers

Youlify is a physician-founded AI company transforming how healthcare providers manage revenue. Developed by a team of clinical and AI experts, the platform automates the full revenue cycle through a proprietary generative AI agent that works seamlessly across insurance claims, electronic health records (EHRs), and billing systems—helping organizations recover more revenue, reduce administrative burden, and accelerate payment timelines.

Despite over $100 billion spent annually on medical billing services in the U.S., providers still lose an estimated $262 billion each year to denied or unpaid claims. Traditional vendors abandon 75% of denied claims due to cost and complexity, while reimbursement timelines often stretch for months. Youlify addresses this critical inefficiency by automating the billing lifecycle—from claim creation to appeals and payment recovery—cutting processing time from months to days. Early users report up to a 21% increase in revenue and a 90% reduction in denials.

Founded by Dr. Bo Gu (cardiac surgeon and emergency physician), Sally Liang (AI fintech expert), and Howard Peng (PhD in NLP and former Head of AI at NewsBreak), Youlify merges clinical expertise with cutting-edge AI. Its proprietary agent processes both structured and unstructured data in real time, operating across EHRs, insurance portals, and billing platforms.

Unlike legacy vendors, Youlify offers:

  • 21% higher revenue capture through missed claim detection and undercoding correction
  • Onboarding in under one week, with reimbursements up to four times faster
  • Transparent analytics into insurance reimbursement trends, coding optimization, and revenue growth opportunities

With new funding, Youlify is expanding to private practices and multi-specialty groups nationwide. The company is also launching an AI-powered voice agent to automate insurance appeals in real time—streamlining a task that currently consumes hours of manual work and often remains unresolved.

As Dr. Chime, Surgeon and COO of Hillside Polymedic, remarked, “Youlify boosted my practice billing revenue by over 20%, offering insights on coding and documentation that allowed us to scale without worrying about back-office operations.”

By embedding AI directly into the financial infrastructure of care delivery, Youlify is enabling a faster, smarter, and more provider-centric model of revenue cycle management.
