What You Should Know:

– Emagine Solutions Technology announced a major update to its signature app, The Journey Pregnancy, with the integration of Epic EHR system in the United States.

– The integration elevates the already advanced app into a powerful tool for both pregnant women and healthcare providers, offering enhanced personalized support throughout pregnancy and postpartum.

The Journey Pregnancy App: A Robust Maternal Health Tool

The Journey Pregnancy App is a comprehensive and free resource for patients and medical professionals, providing a high level of pre- and post-partum app-based personalized support. Its features include virtual wellness coaching, vitals tracking (such as blood pressure, glucose, and kick count), and integration with Withings and Fitbit devices.

Key features of The Journey Pregnancy App:

  • Vitals tracking (including blood pressure, glucose, and kick count)
  • Virtual wellness coaching
  • Integration with Withings and Fitbit
  • EPIC integration for data sharing with providers

EPIC Integration: A Game-Changer for Maternal Care:

The key new feature is the EPIC integration, which positions The Journey Pregnancy App as one of the few pregnancy apps offering this capability. This integration empowers patients to:

  • Log their blood pressure
  • Record pregnancy symptoms
  • Track their mood
  • Monitor other health metrics

Critically, patients can choose to share this information with their provider team, enabling doctors to view these vitals in real-time.

Availability

The Journey Pregnancy App is available for free on Apple’s App Store and Google Play. Emagine is committed to addressing the maternal health crisis by developing technology to make pregnancy care safer, lower in cost, and improve outcomes.

“The US is facing a maternal health crisis. A reported 1 in 6 babies in maternity care deserts are not receiving adequate prenatal care and our own studies show that women are abandoning pregnancy apps, frustrated by a lack of useful features. People need technologies to make pregnancy care safer and at a lower cost with improved outcomes,” explains Emagine Solutions Technology Co-founder and CEO Courtney Williams. “By integrating with EPIC, we will be able to further our mission to make pregnancy safer while bridging these untenable gaps in care.”
