Acquisition Details
The acquisition includes the Agnes Connect® software, related intellectual property, customer subscriptions, and the “AMD Telemedicine” name and goodwill. Agnes Connect® is a secure, encrypted, cloud-based clinical examination platform renowned for its robust telemedicine features. It enables healthcare providers to capture and securely exchange medical data, documents, and images in real-time, alongside high-quality video conferencing. The software seamlessly integrates with electronic health record (EHR) systems, streamlining clinical workflows and documentation.
UniDoc will acquire these assets for $175K in cash, subject to customary closing conditions, including potential approval from the Canadian Securities Exchange. The company anticipates closing the acquisition shortly.
Expanding Agnes Connect Customer Base
Upon closing, UniDoc plans to support and expand the existing Agnes Connect customer base, providing improved software updates and enhanced customer service. The Neil Connect platform, which already integrates with Carefluence and DocBox software and utilizes advanced artificial intelligence (AI), aims to facilitate more accurate diagnoses and efficient patient interactions.
