What You Should Know:

– Notable, a healthcare AI platform focused on boosting workforce productivity, has announced a strategic partnership with CityMD, the largest urgent care provider in New York and New Jersey.

– The collaboration will see CityMD deploy Notable’s AI and automation technology across its network of over 180 locations, aiming to improve patient access, streamline operations, and alleviate the administrative burden associated with walk-in care.

Transform Patient Access with AI and Automation

Recognizing the crucial role urgent care centers play in bridging the gap between primary care and emergency services, CityMD is addressing the challenges posed by increasing patient volumes. The demand for urgent care has surged, with a 60 percent increase since 2019, as consumers prioritize convenient, on-demand healthcare. However, administrative inefficiencies can lead to treatment delays and reduced patient satisfaction.

Notable’s AI platform is designed to act as an “agentic workforce,” automating repetitive tasks and streamlining workflows. For CityMD, this means a significant impact on patient encounters. With CityMD’s regional dominance, Notable’s technology will influence the experience of over four million patient visits annually.

“Urgent care is a critical gateway to the healthcare system for millions, yet patients often encounter unnecessary delays and barriers to timely care. By bringing Notable’s AI-powered automation to CityMD, we are addressing these challenges head-on,” said Pranay Kapadia, CEO of Notable. “Our technology streamlines every appointment, registration, and follow-up, ensuring that healthcare teams can operate more efficiently despite staffing shortages.”
