What You Should Know:

– Imagenet, a provider of technology solutions for health plans and managed care organizations, announced the acquisition of CODY, a company specializing in member communications and compliance software and services. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

– The acquisition, finalized on December 31, 2024, strengthens Imagenet’s position as a comprehensive solutions partner for health plans across various markets. Imagenet’s established capabilities in digital mailroom, claims adjudication, contact center, and Print-to-EDI (P2E) solutions are now enhanced by CODY’s proprietary software, outsourced services, and consulting expertise in member communications and compliance.

Meeting the Evolving Needs of Health Plans

As health plans face increasing pressure to improve quality, ensure compliance, and reduce costs, Imagenet is committed to providing solutions that address these challenges. The acquisition of CODY provides health plans with a single-source vendor for a comprehensive suite of solutions, including:

  • Enhanced Compliance: CODY’s proprietary software and consulting services help health plans navigate complex regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Streamlined Enrollment: CODY’s solutions streamline member enrollment processes, improving efficiency and accuracy.
  • Improved Reconciliation: CODY’s expertise in reconciliation processes helps health plans ensure accurate and timely payment processing.

Expanded Reach and Resources

The combined company will serve over 150 health plan customers with a global workforce of more than 1,000 employees across 10 locations in the U.S. and a dedicated delivery center in Manila, Philippines. This expanded reach and resources will enable Imagenet to provide even greater support and value to its clients.

“The current solutions landscape for health plans is fragmented, with multiple vendors and disjointed solutions. These vendors also do not provide consistently high levels of service delivery which is our hallmark. There is a clear need for vendor-partners who can execute, scale quickly, and deliver a more streamlined, integrated solution,” said Zac Fritz, CEO of Imagenet. “At Imagenet, we view execution as differentiation.  With CODY, we will now offer broader solutions in member communications with a track record like ours of expertise, responsiveness, and client-centricity.”
