IntusCare Raises $11.5M to Expand Geriatric Care Solutions, Launches CareHub Platform

What You Should Know:

– IntusCare, a provider of predictive analytics solutions for geriatric care, announced it has secured $11.5M in a strategic follow-on financing round led by Deerfield Management, with participation from Citi Impact Fund, Jumpstart Nova, and other existing IntusCare investors..

– The new investment brings the company’s total funding to over $27M, highlighting the growing demand for innovative solutions that improve care outcomes for seniors.

Introducing CareHub: A Game-Changer for Geriatric Care

The capital infusion will fuel the launch of CareHub, a comprehensive care management platform, and support the expansion of IntusCare’s existing suite of Revenue Integrity, Population Health, and Utilization Management solutions. CareHub is designed to address the unique needs of Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) and other value-based care models. This innovative platform offers a range of benefits, including:

  • Reduced administrative burden: Streamlines documentation and workflows, freeing up valuable time for care providers.
  • Improved data integration: Replaces or integrates with disparate systems, providing a unified view of patient information.
  • Actionable insights: Empowers interdisciplinary care teams with data-driven insights to optimize medical utilization.

Expanding Beyond PACE

While initially focused on PACE programs, IntusCare plans to expand its reach to serve Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and Special Needs Plans (SNPs). The company’s solutions are particularly valuable for organizations managing complex Medicare and Medicaid populations, where effective care coordination and risk management are essential.

Investing in AI and Innovation

IntusCare will also use this funding to accelerate its artificial intelligence (AI) research and development efforts. This will further enhance user experiences for healthcare providers and staff, enabling them to deliver more personalized and effective care.

“With CareHub, we’re taking a significant step forward in our mission to create the platform that organizations use to deliver the right care, at the right time, every day for older adults with complex needs,” said Robbie Felton, CEO and co-founder of IntusCare. “This product is the result of our deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by PACE programs and other value-based care systems with technology, interoperability, and managing complex Medicare and Medicaid populations.”
