WindRose Invests in CIVIE, an AI-Powered Radiology Solutions Provider

What You Should Know:

– WindRose Health Investors, a New York-based healthcare private equity firm, announced a strategic investment in CIVIE, an AI-powered ecosystem of radiology solutions.

– The investment will fuel CIVIE’s growth and development of its innovative technology platform, designed to optimize revenue, enhance productivity, and improve patient outcomes for radiology practices and hospital systems.

A Collaborative Partnership

WindRose partnered with the management team of Collaborative Imaging (Ci), a radiologist-owned management service organization, to acquire Ci’s technology platform and establish CIVIE. This collaboration leverages WindRose’s expertise in scaling tech-enabled healthcare services and Ci’s deep understanding of the radiology landscape. Ci’s management team, led by CEO Dhruv Chopra, will transition to CIVIE and continue to guide the company in its next phase of growth.

Comprehensive Radiology Solutions

CIVIE’s comprehensive cloud-based platform offers a suite of integrated solutions, including:

  • Revenue cycle management: Optimizing billing and collections processes.
  • Imaging workflow solutions: Streamlining image management and interpretation workflows.
  • Radiology information systems (RIS): Managing patient scheduling, reporting, and billing.
  • Picture archiving and communication systems (PACS): Storing, retrieving, and sharing medical images.
  • Vendor neutral archive (VNA): Consolidating image data from multiple sources.
  • Automated speech-to-text solutions: Improving efficiency and accuracy of reporting.

“We are thrilled to partner with WindRose and embark on an exciting new chapter as CIVIE,” said Mr. Chopra. “We believe WindRose is the perfect partner to support the Company’s growth strategy of delivering innovative and disruptive revenue cycle and imaging workflow solutions to the radiology industry. With WindRose’s investment, CIVIE will continue to deliver meaningful value to its clients while also focusing on ways to enhance the platform and drive additional efficiencies to counter the economic pressures being faced by radiology practices and imaging centers.”
