Teladoc Health Launches Chronic Condition Management Solution

What You Should Know:

– Teladoc Health (NYSE: TDOC), a global leader in virtual care, announced a new collaboration with Amazon to improve access to its chronic condition management programs.

– The strategic partnership will allow eligible Amazon customers to seamlessly discover and enroll in Teladoc Health’s programs for diabetes, hypertension, prediabetes, and weight management through Amazon’s Health Benefits Connector.

Addressing the Chronic Disease Burden

More than half of adults in the U.S. live with at least one chronic disease. Digital health programs offer a valuable opportunity to provide continuous, personalized support for managing these conditions, but enrollment barriers often prevent individuals from accessing these benefits. Many people are simply unaware of the programs available through their health plans.

Seamless Access Through Amazon

Amazon’s Health Benefits Connector addresses this challenge by proactively surfacing relevant health benefits to customers when they search for related products or devices on the platform. This integration with Teladoc Health’s programs allows eligible Amazon customers to easily discover and enroll in programs that can help them manage their chronic conditions.

Teladoc Health’s Chronic Condition Programs

Teladoc Health’s chronic condition programs leverage:

  • Connected devices: To track health metrics and provide real-time feedback.
  • Data-driven personalization: To tailor programs to each individual’s needs and goals.
  • Expert coaching: To provide guidance and support throughout the journey.

“This partnership helps deliver on our strategy to bring greater value to our customers in our individual solutions and across our integrated offerings,” said Chuck Divita, Chief Executive Officer of Teladoc Health. “By enabling customers to discover and enroll in our programs on Amazon, this effort will improve access to needed care and help people manage their health in an easier and more convenient way.”
