– GE HealthCare has announced the launch of Aurora, a revolutionary dual-head SPECT/CT system designed to enhance diagnostic capabilities and improve patient care. 

– Unveiled at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 2024 Annual Meeting, Aurora offers advanced features and AI-powered solutions to support precision medicine and personalized care.

Advancing SPECT/CT Imaging

Aurora combines functional imaging from SPECT with anatomical details from CT, providing clinicians with a comprehensive view of diseases. This hybrid system is particularly valuable for conditions like cancer and cardiac disorders, where early detection and precise localization of abnormalities are crucial for effective intervention.

AI-Powered Image Enhancement

Aurora also features Clarify DL, a deep learning image reconstruction technology designed to improve bone SPECT image quality without compromising contrast or resolution. This AI-powered solution enhances diagnostic confidence and accuracy.
