Accelerating Innovation in Healthcare
The partnership will leverage Siemens Healthineers’ expertise in medical technology and The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center’s clinical and research capabilities to transform care delivery through:
- Diagnostic and Therapeutic Imaging: Advancements in imaging technology to enhance diagnosis and treatment across various medical specialties.
- AI and Machine Learning: Developing and implementing AI and machine learning algorithms to improve efficiency, accuracy, and clinical decision-making in radiology and radiation oncology.
- Access to Care: Expanding access to high-quality care for underserved patient populations.
- Workforce Development: Implementing training and education programs to enhance the skills and expertise of healthcare professionals.
Establishing New Center for Imaging Excellence
A key component of the Value Partnership is the establishment of a new center for imaging excellence. This center will bring together scientists, physicians, engineers, and clinicians from both organizations to collaborate on translational research and develop innovative solutions that can be rapidly implemented in clinical practice.
