Oracle Health Launches AI-Powered EHR, Clinical AI Agent, Cloud Apps

What You Should Know:

– Oracle Health is previewing its next-generation electronic health record (EHR) at the Oracle Health Summit, showcasing a system designed to leverage the power of AI and cloud computing to transform healthcare delivery. This innovative EHR is built from the ground up on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), offering enhanced security and a seamless user experience.

In addition, the company announced the release of its new  Clinical AI Agent and two new cloud apps,  Oracle Health Patient Portal and Oracle Health Patient Administration.

AI-Driven Enhancements for Optimized Workflows

The new EHR embeds AI across the entire clinical workflow to automate processes, deliver insights at the point of care, and simplify tasks for physicians and staff. Key AI-powered features include:

  • Intuitive Design: Conversational search, voice-driven navigation, and multimodal search capabilities enable quick and easy access to critical patient information.
  • AI-Supported Summaries: Accelerates chart review and provides consolidated patient information, reducing the time clinicians spend on administrative tasks.
  • Workflow Optimization: Integrates with Oracle Health Command Center to provide insights into patient throughput, staffing, and resource allocation, driving performance improvements.

Enhancing Patient Care with AI

The new EHR also incorporates the Oracle Health  Clinical AI Agent which further enhances efficiency and patient care by:

  • Automating Documentation: Reduces time spent on documentation, ordering, and coding, allowing clinicians to focus more on patient care.
  • Generating Personalized Care Plans: Leverages Oracle Health Data Intelligence to integrate patient data from various sources and suggest personalized care plans based on individual needs and genetic makeup.

Improving Patient Engagement

Oracle Health is also introducing two new cloud applications to enhance patient engagement and streamline administrative tasks:

  • Oracle Health Patient Portal: Provides patients with a user-friendly platform to access their health information, connect with providers, and manage their care.
  • Oracle Health Patient Administration: Simplifies patient intake, registration, scheduling, and appointment confirmation for both staff and patients.
