Dr. McLean’s Extensive Experience in Women’s Health

Dr. McLean brings a wealth of experience to Evvy, having worked in diverse settings and roles throughout her career. Her expertise spans clinical practice, public health, and digital health innovation. She began her career as Chief Program Officer at the Lake Tanganyika Floating Health Clinic in Tanzania, providing essential care to women in underserved communities.

Dr. McLean practiced as an OB/GYN at the University of Washington, gaining valuable clinical experience. She served as Chief Medical Officer at Quilted Health, a virtual and in-person midwife care company, and as Senior Director of Clinical Product Strategy at Ro, where she played a key role in scaling its women’s health offerings. Dr. McLean has been involved in advancing precision medicine initiatives, including advising a Gates Foundation project on AI-guided obstetrical tools. She currently serves as the Legislative Chair for the American College of OBGYNs (ACOG) in Washington state, demonstrating her commitment to improving women’s health.
