What You Should Know:

– RXNT, a Maryland-based healthcare technology leader, is continuing its path of accelerated growth with the acquisition of Scalabull, a nationwide interfacing network.

– The strategic move strengthens RXNT’s ability to connect Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems with clinical laboratories and radiology facilities, streamlining critical diagnostic processes for healthcare providers across the U.S.

Scalabull: Simplifying Diagnostic Connectivity

Founded in 2013, Scalabull has established a robust network of over 3,000 clinical laboratory and radiology facilities across all 50 states. Leveraging industry-standard HL7 connections, Scalabull enables seamless data exchange between EHR systems and diagnostic providers. This simplifies ordering and receiving lab and radiology results, improving efficiency and patient care.

Accelerated Implementation for Faster Results

One of the key benefits of Scalabull is its rapid implementation process. Practices can initiate the interface setup in as little as 15 minutes through a simple five-step process. Once approved by the lab or radiology facility, the complete setup can be finalized within days or weeks, significantly faster than the months or years often required for traditional integrations.

This accelerated implementation ensures quicker access to lab orders and results for both patients and providers, facilitating timely diagnoses and treatment decisions.

Expanding RXNT’s Interfacing Capabilities

Scalabull currently powers over one million patient lab testing transactions annually. With this acquisition, RXNT is integrating Scalabull’s extensive interfacing network on a larger scale, further enhancing its comprehensive suite of healthcare technology solutions.

This acquisition will allow RXNT to:

  • Streamline diagnostic ordering and results retrieval: Improving workflow efficiency for healthcare providers.
  • Expand its network of connected labs and radiology facilities: Offering greater choice and flexibility to its clients.
  • Provide enhanced support for diagnostic interfacing: Ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

A Seamless Transition for Existing Customers

Scalabull founder Zach Boldyga will continue to support RXNT throughout 2024 to ensure a smooth transition for existing Scalabull customers. As the two companies’ systems already integrate seamlessly, this acquisition promises a streamlined experience and enhanced capabilities for all users.

“We’ve partnered with Scalabull for years, and by bringing its functionality internally, RXNT has the unique opportunity to streamline existing processes and systems and provide top-tier support for customers and new clients alike,” said Randy Boldyga, CEO and President of RXNT. “It will be a smooth transition for current Scalabull customers as our systems already work together seamlessly, and the acquisition will accelerate our ability to help practices quickly connect to any lab or radiology provider in the United States.”
