What You Should Know:

–   Leading patient engagement technology provider SONIFI Health has partnered with NESA—a rapidly growing virtual care technology provider whose AI-powered solution is embedded directly into Epic’s ECAL/CAL virtual care platform—to improve patient care and engagement with SONIFI Health’s interactive TV system.

–  Building on the success NESA has experienced deploying virtual care on wall-mounted displays and mobile carts in hospitals, integrations with SONIFI Health now bring those EHR-based virtual care sessions onto interactive TVs in patient rooms.

SONIFI Health: Enhancing Patient Care and Staff Efficiency through Interactive Technology

SONIFI Health offers an industry-leading, EHR-integrated platform that enhances patient engagement and clinical productivity. Designed with the principles of hospitality, this interactive system improves both patient outcomes and staff efficiency by anticipating the needs of patients and healthcare providers.

Key features of SONIFI Health’s platform include:

– Virtual care integration via the interactive TV system, which allows nurses in centralized command centers to manage tasks such as admissions, rounding, tele-sitting, patient observation, remote consultations, and discharge preparation. This system reduces reliance on travel nurses and optimizes resource allocation for hospitals.

– Automated processes for patient-care team interactions: The interactive TV automatically powers on, displays call notifications, and connects patients to their virtual care team without requiring in-room staff intervention.

– Seamless patient experience: Once the virtual consultation is complete, patients are seamlessly returned to their previous activity, whether watching a movie or ordering a meal, maintaining a consistent and uninterrupted experience.

By streamlining virtual care, SONIFI Health helps healthcare organizations save valuable resources while enhancing the patient care experience.

“Since the vast majority of patients are already familiar with and using the TV in the room, having virtual care also available there will increase patient adoption,” said Meghan Seus, SONIFI Health’s Senior Vice President of Product Management, “as well as let nurses focus on clinical tasks instead of needing to manage additional equipment.”
