CommonWell Health Alliance Launches New TEFCA-Enabled Platform

– CommonWell Health Alliance, a healthcare interoperability organization, has announced significant advancements in its platform and membership. 

– The new platform, developed in collaboration with ELLKAY, a healthcare data interoperability expert, is designed to facilitate smoother and more reliable data exchange among healthcare providers.

Key Highlights:

  • New Members: Athenahealth, ModuleMD, and Solace Health have joined CommonWell’s platform and QHIN.
  • Enhanced Interoperability: The new platform leverages ELLKAY’s cutting-edge technology to improve data exchange capabilities.
  • TEFCA Compliance: The platform is fully TEFCA-enabled, ensuring compliance with national standards for health information exchange.
  • Improved Security: The platform incorporates state-of-the-art security measures to protect patient data.
  • Streamlined Workflows: Healthcare providers can benefit from simplified workflows and improved patient care coordination.

CommonWell continues to expand its membership, with over 70 members and 36,000 provider organizations connected to the network. The Alliance has exchanged over 7.7 billion health records with 238+ million unique individuals.
