Adonis Raises $31M to Expand AI-Powered Revenue Cycle Automation

What You Should Know:

– Adonis, a healthcare revenue intelligence and automation company raises $31M in Series B funding led by Point72 Private Investments, bringing Adonis’ total funding to $54M.

– With this new funding, Adonis plans to accelerate product innovation, expand its reach within health systems, and grow its team based in New York City.  This latest investment round follows a successful Series A round of $17.3M led by General Catalyst just twelve months ago. The new funding underscores the significant investor confidence in Adonis’ innovative approach to revenue cycle management (RCM) in healthcare.

Powering Efficiency and Growth for Healthcare Providers

Adonis currently serves over 10,000 healthcare providers, processing tens of millions of claims totaling over $13.3 billion in charges. Their platform integrates seamlessly with over 35 different electronic health record (EHR) systems and clearinghouses, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of healthcare organizations.

These organizations include health systems, single-specialty physician groups, and even rapidly growing digital health companies across various specialties like anesthesia, dermatology, and behavioral health.

Addressing a $150B Challenge

For many healthcare providers, collecting revenue from insurance companies is a significant administrative burden. Legacy RCM technology often lacks automation and relies on manual processes, leading to inefficiencies and lost revenue. Adonis was built to address this $150 billion challenge.

AI-Powered Revenue Intelligence

Adonis’ flagship product, Adonis Intelligence, leverages machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) to streamline workflows. This proprietary model identifies root causes of revenue cycle issues and automates tasks, significantly reducing staffing needs and improving collections.

Real-Time Insights and Increased Efficiency

Adonis equips RCM teams with real-time dashboards, AI-driven recommendations, claims status tracking, and smart worklists. These features empower teams to work more efficiently, identify underpayments, and maximize revenue capture.
