– The enhanced services are available immediately to more than two million APM beneficiaries across Mexico.
APM Partners with Pager to Enhance and Expand Health Services
The new partnership with Pager enhances and strengthens the health services provided by APM, including Ground Ambulance, Doctor at Home, and a 24-hour Medical Advice Line. With Pager’s capabilities, an automated triage system uses a combination of AI and evidence-based clinical algorithms developed by clinical experts to guide APM members to the most appropriate level of care for their health needs. This care may range from immediate ambulance assistance for medical emergencies to a home visit by an APM clinician, or a trip to the local emergency room. For non-urgent medical issues, Pager’s secure telehealth services allow members to access high-quality medical care without leaving their homes.
By partnering with Pager, APM can now also offer a personal medical assistant to help coordinate care needs. APM members can use SMS to connect directly with their personal medical assistant to answer questions about benefits, schedule appointments with nearby doctors, or consult with medical professionals about treatments via a secure chat or video line, all within a connected care experience.
