What You Should Know:

– Manifold, a leading AI-powered clinical research platform, strengthens its leadership team with industry veterans following a successful $15M Series A funding round.

– The strategic expansion aims to accelerate Manifold’s mission to automate manual workflows in clinical research, alongside esteemed partners like Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center and Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.

Building a Team for Success

The newly appointed executives bring diverse expertise in talent management, sales, legal, product development, and marketing. Here’s a closer look at their roles:

  • Chris McMahon (Chief People Officer): Oversees talent acquisition, culture building, and people operations, leveraging experience from Kyruus Health and Turbonomic’s growth phases.
  • Alex Akers (VP, Growth): Spearheads expansion efforts across key cancer research centers, drawing on his proven track record at Health Catalyst and Grand Rounds.

  • Megan Ahigian (Sr. Director of Product & Partnerships): Develops data-driven products, leveraging her expertise at Glytec and Kyruus Health during rapid growth periods.
  • Taylor Gleason (Sr. Director of Marketing): Leads full-funnel marketing strategies with experience from Kyruus Health, Press Ganey, and other healthcare technology companies.

Bolstering Go-to-Market Strategy

Manifold further bolsters its go-to-market strategy with two seasoned advisors:

  • Mike Longo: Previously instrumental in growing Veeva from a startup to over $1 billion in revenue, he offers valuable experience in North American R&D sales.
  • Chris Reisig: A veteran advisor with a history of leading sales functions at companies like Dyn and Veracode, brings expertise in guiding early-stage technology companies.

“We’re thrilled to welcome some of the industry’s strongest leaders to help us transform clinical study and data operations with our AI-powered platform,” said Vinay Seth Mohta, CEO and Co-Founder of Manifold. “Our team will be crucial to growing our partnerships and expanding our solutions – achieving our vision of making it ten times faster and one-tenth the cost to carry out modern studies and analytics.”
