What You Should Know:

– OptMyCare™, a provider of clinically engineered AI solutions for healthcare risk management, announced it has secured $3M in Series A funding.

– The investment, led by Austin-based venture capital firm LiveOak Ventures, brings OptMyCare’s total funding to $4.5M.

AI-powered Risk Stratification for Improved Outcomes

OptMyCare™ offers a unique cloud-based SaaS platform that leverages the power of AI:

  • Precision Analytics and Actionable Insights: The platform combines advanced analytics with actionable risk stratification solutions for various chronic conditions. This allows healthcare organizations to identify potential risks more accurately and make data-driven decisions.
  • Real-time Risk Identification: OptMyCare™ utilizes clinically-engineered algorithms that analyze data from 55 chronic conditions. This facilitates rapid and accurate risk identification, allowing for proactive interventions.
  • Improved Workflow and Reduced Costs: OptMyCare™’s predictive and prescriptive solutions streamline risk management workflows, saving healthcare organizations time and money.

The OptMyCare™ Team: Combining Clinical Expertise with Technology

OptMyCare™ was founded in 2019 by Dr. Antony E. Pfaffle and Dr. Saravanan Balamuthusamy, who bring a unique blend of clinical and technological expertise:

  • Dr. Pfaffle: With over two decades of experience in risk management consulting, Dr. Pfaffle offers valuable insights into the challenges facing healthcare organizations.
  • Dr. Balamuthusamy: Dr. Balamuthusamy brings two decades of clinical experience and co-founded a large multispecialty physician group.

Expansion Plans

The new funding will empower OptMyCare™ to:

  • Expand Customer Acquisition: OptMyCare™ will accelerate its efforts to reach new customers in the healthcare risk management space.
  • Refine Technology: The company will continue to refine its cutting-edge AI platform to ensure it remains at the forefront of healthcare risk management solutions.
  • Strengthen Leadership: OptMyCare™ plans to onboard key personnel and experienced leaders in both healthcare and technology sectors.

“The need for a clinically driven AI solution to identify and mitigate rising risk across multi-chronic diseases is lacking, OptMyCare is the first machine learning platform that comprehensively addresses holistic care incorporating social determinants of health (SDOH) and behavioral health while mitigating risk progression and healthcare cost. We are excited to partner with LiveOak Ventures to expand our platform to evolve into an industry leader in AI solutions for value-based care.” said Dr. Saravanan Balamuthusamy, CEO and co-founder of OptMyCare.
