– FOLX Health, the first of its kind, nationwide LGBTQIA+ digital healthcare service provider, built to serve the community’s specific needs appoints Greg Sottolano as Chief People Officer.
– As Chief People Officer, Greg will be responsible for HR, L&D and Internal Communications and will be focused on developing best-in-class talent across clinical and headquarters staff and enhancing the company culture.
– The strategic hire will support FOLX Health’s quickly growing business and in furthering its mission to expand access to care for the LGBTQ+ community.
Greg Sottolano Bio
Greg is experienced in leading HR strategy within growth industries and Fortune 500 organizations, serving FOLX well as they continue to scale. He also brings to FOLX strong ties to LGBTQ+ corporate and community advocacy organizations, with direct experience in building LGBTQ+ employee and business resource groups in previous roles. He most recently led Visa’s global Learning Delivery team, responsible for internal learning solutions to employees and a P&L of education products for clients, to become recognized for Talent Development as #1 in the industry.
In service, he fiercely advocates for the underserved and underrepresented. He created McDonald’s first LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group and co-chaired Visa’s global LGBTQ+ Business Resource Group. He has served on various boards, including Executive Committee member and Chairman of the Board for Alpha Kappa Psi, the oldest and largest Professional Co-Ed Business Fraternity.
In the arts, he is a co-owner of Oasis, the Bay Area’s premier drag cabaret and nightclub, winner of countless “Best Of” awards, and the clubhouse for the Bay Area’s queer community. He’s produced and invested in a variety of regional and Broadway theatre, including Tony award winning The Inheritance and Six, and Tony nominated Slave Play.
