What You Should Know:

  • Zocdoc, the leading healthcare marketplace that makes it easy for patients to find and book in-person or virtual care across over 250 specialties and more than 18,000 insurance plans today announced the launch of its Integration Partner Program.
  • This new program deepens the partnerships between Zocdoc and leading EHR and practice management software (PMS) companies to deliver more value and a better experience to shared provider customers and the patients they serve.

Empowering Healthcare Integration: Zocdoc’s Partnership Program Revolutionizes Scheduling Solutions

Over the span of 16 years, Zocdoc has developed more than 175 calendar integrations with EHRs, PMSs, and tailored solutions. These integrations empower providers of all specialties and scales to seamlessly merge their scheduling software with Zocdoc, presenting real-time appointment availability and facilitating instant online scheduling. Through the Zocdoc Integration Partner Program, collaborations with scheduling software firms integrating with Zocdoc are strengthened, thereby unlocking growth avenues for their clientele.

The Integration Partner Program categorizes scheduling software partners into tiers based on technical and commercial criteria. Partners can access additional benefits, both for themselves and their customers, by supporting a more deeply integrated experience:

1. Basic Integration Partners furnish providers with an acceptable format of calendar integration for online scheduling.

2. Complete Integration Partners offer providers the full benefits of calendar integration, ensuring smooth online scheduling through search engines (like Google), their website, or the Zocdoc Marketplace, maintaining standard technical calendar integration requirements.

3. Advanced Integration Partners, the highest partnership tier, guarantee providers complete access to new Zocdoc features and product enhancements, including the full suite of tools within Zocdoc Practice Solutions, by meeting comprehensive integration requirements and ongoing enhancements. Notably, several prominent EHRs, including Elation and DrChrono by EverHealth, have joined the Zocdoc Integration Partner Program as Advanced Integration Partners, reinforcing long-standing partnerships.

Zocdoc and EHRs share a vested interest in assisting provider organizations in expanding and nurturing their patient panels. Ensuring seamless interoperability among all systems used by provider organizations is crucial for their success on any software platform. By collaborating with Zocdoc, EHRs can unlock growth opportunities for their clientele, enabling them to leverage real-time online scheduling and complimentary tools that complement existing workflows.

“At Zocdoc, we’re unifiers who are working to build the connective tissue of healthcare, and our new Integration Partner Program is deeply aligned with this ethos,” said Zocdoc founder and CEO Oliver Kharraz, MD. “We believe that delivering a great patient experience and supporting providers’ growth is contingent on strong and mutually beneficial partnerships with leading EHR and PMS organizations. We introduced this program to incentivize deep and valuable relationships with our scheduling software partners, with a shared goal of delivering an integrated, streamlined experience to providers and their patients.”
