His tenure also includes executive roles at Blue Shield of California and Sentara Healthcare, where he spearheaded initiatives focused on healthcare quality and affordability.
Dr. Gilliland’s career journey showcases a deep commitment to advancing healthcare excellence. His leadership roles at the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group and the Colorado Permanente Medical Group within Kaiser Permanente, coupled with his experience as a practicing general surgeon, underscore his dedication to improving patient care and outcomes.
