What You Should Know:

– Chartis, a healthcare advisory firm, announced today the acquisition of HealthScape Advisors, a prominent healthcare payer consulting firm from Convey Health Solutions (Convey), a healthcare technology and services company. The divestiture allows Convey to singularly focus on its plan administration, supplemental benefits, and Pareto Intelligence offerings, accelerating its strategy and strengthening its market position as a leading technology partner to health plans.

– The strategic payer acquisition expands Chartis’ capabilities in the payer segment and positions them to better serve clients navigating the evolving healthcare landscape.

Expanding Payer Reach and Expertise

Based in Chicago with 160 experienced professionals, HealthScape offers comprehensive consulting services to payers across all segments, including commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, ACA, and federal. Their expertise aligns seamlessly with Chartis’ existing payer practice, established through the acquisition of crankfrog in 2022.

Strengthening Support for Transformational Change

This combined force positions Chartis to:

  • Offer comprehensive solutions: Cater to the diverse needs of both payers and providers, fostering collaboration and navigating the complexities of payer-provider convergence.
  • Support transformational change: Guide clients through strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and technology implementations within a rapidly changing healthcare environment.
  • Deliver deeper industry insights: Leverage the combined knowledge and experience of both teams to provide clients with unparalleled market intelligence and guidance.

“Our complementary strengths position us as a market leader in advising health plans and, together, we can positively impact how care is delivered,” said Kyle Stern, HealthScape’s Managing Director. “I am deeply thankful to our entire HealthScape team who have worked incredibly hard to help us reach this milestone. I look forward to integrating our firm into Chartis.”
