She previously served as Ochsner’s Chief Applications Officer and Vice President of Clinical Systems, where she spearheaded the implementation and maintenance of critical applications like the electronic health record, patient experience tools, and ancillary systems. Under her leadership, the team achieved significant milestones, including HIMSS Ambulatory Stage 7 validation, AI integration for streamlined communication, and enhanced nursing documentation and virtual care capabilities.
Looking ahead, Trainor’s focus will be on aligning IT with strategic priorities, streamlining workflows for healthcare professionals, and ensuring seamless patient access. Her key objectives include reducing inbox overload and improving documentation processes for physicians, advanced practice providers, and nurses.
