What You Should Know:

– Omada Health, a leading virtual-first healthcare provider, today announced a groundbreaking partnership with Amazon Health Services. This collaboration brings Omada’s comprehensive programs for diabetes prevention, diabetes management, and hypertension care to the forefront of Amazon’s new Health Condition Programs initiative.

– As the first virtual provider featured in this program, Omada will empower millions of individuals with Amazon accounts to discover and enroll in valuable health benefits offered by their employers or health plans, often at no extra cost.

Seamless Enrollment from Product Browsing to Program Access

Amazon customers browsing for diabetes prevention, diabetes, and hypertension products will now encounter a seamless path to explore their eligibility for Omada’s programs. A simple eligibility check on the Amazon Health webpage can lead individuals directly to Omada’s website for enrollment. This strategic placement within Amazon’s vast reach aims to significantly increase awareness and enrollment for Omada’s services, currently benefiting over 1,900 employers and health plans, impacting over 20 million lives.

Proven Results, Long-Term Impact

With over 12 years of experience, Omada boasts a remarkable track record. 88% of program participants report satisfaction, and the diabetes program demonstrates exceptional outcomes:

– 12-month A1C decrease of 2.0% for members with baseline A1C above 8%.

– 76% of members achieving Omada’s A1C reduction goals.

These findings showcase the program’s effectiveness in managing blood sugar levels and reducing A1C for long-term health benefits.

“Amazon wants to make it easier for people to get and stay healthy, and part of that is making it easier to discover the products, services, and professionals that can help them do that. Many aren’t aware of the healthcare benefits they are eligible for, that are typically no cost or subsidized by their employer or insurance plan,” says Aaron Martin, Vice President, Amazon. “When customers are shopping for health-related products on Amazon, we can surface these benefits to provide even more support in improving their health, at no additional cost.”
