With a wealth of experience spanning more than 25 years in medical practice management and healthcare administration, Tonya Darner is a seasoned healthcare leader known for providing oversight and leadership to complex clinical teams, ensuring financial stewardship, and implementing healthcare strategies that positively impact overall patient care.
Tonya’s distinguished career includes 20 years of service in the U.S. Air Force, where she rose to the position of the 4th medical operations squadron superintendent in 2007. Her military background enriched her leadership skills and instilled a commitment to excellence in healthcare operations.
After retiring from the military, Tonya continued her impactful journey in healthcare by managing the development and operations of various specialties at UPHS – Marquette. Her progressive leadership roles included serving as the Senior Director of Neurosciences, Imaging, and On-Call Specialist Service Lines. Subsequently, she took on the role of Director of Regional Operations, overseeing neurosciences, occupational medicine, behavioral health, pediatric specialty clinics, and radiology service lines.
