What You Should Know:

– Aya Healthcare, a large healthcare talent software and staffing company, has acquired Winnow AI, a data science-driven solution that helps organizations recruit and retain physicians.

– Winnow AI uses artificial intelligence and business intelligence to identify passive physicians who are likely to relocate to a particular region. This acquisition will allow Aya Healthcare to offer both active and passive job seeker recruitment platforms to its clients.

Data Science Driven Platform to Recruit Passive Physicians

Winnow AI’s model combines AI with business intelligence to help organizations tap into a unique source of passive physicians who are likely to relocate to their region. The AI model identifies predictive matches for open roles, surfaces potential candidate relationships with existing providers, and predicts which physicians are likely to change jobs and where they are likely to relocate.

Post-Acquisition Plans

Winnow AI will operate within Aya’s Provider Solutions division, enhancing its capabilities to offer both active and passive job seeker recruitment platforms. This division enables healthcare organizations to hire locum providers and manage provider recruitment and engagement through Aya Connect.

Aya Healthcare’s DocCafe brand, recognized as the premier physician talent acquisition platform with the nation’s largest pool of active job seekers, will complement Winnow AI’s capabilities. The acquisition aims to provide healthcare organizations with effective solutions for recruiting both active and passive physician job seekers.

Benefits for Healthcare Organizations

The acquisition is expected to help healthcare organizations identify passive job seekers, recruit active physician job seekers, and create well-aligned provider teams. The goal is to enhance efficiency, generate cost savings, and improve access to care for communities.

“Winnow AI offers a more targeted approach to building all-star teams by pinpointing candidates who match the profiles of a company’s best doctors,” said Ray Guzman, Co-Founder of Winnow AI and CEO of SwitchPoint Ventures. “Aya’s ability to scale Winnow’s innovative solution will help healthcare companies dramatically improve their ability to attract, hire, and retain the best-fit providers for their organizations.”
