What You Should Know:

  • Hint Health, the company powering the Direct Primary Care (DPC) movement, today announced the release of its newest product, Hint All-in-One.
  • The all-encompassing EMR platform made exclusively for DPCs integrates Hint’s existing membership management platform with a new clinical platform that was purpose-built by and for DPC physicians. Now, delivered within the targeted 6-month deadline, the solution enables DPC physicians to get back to what they love to do – care for patients.

An All-Encompassing EMR Platform to Improve Efficiency

The COVID pandemic pushed many burned-out primary care physicians into retirement or less stressful jobs, but those familiar with the industry know that the current primary care crisis has been brewing for much longer. The U.S. is now expecting to face a shortage of primary care physicians ranging from 21,000 to 55,000 by the year 2033, making providing thorough, holistic healthcare nearly impossible.

That’s why many physicians are turning to direct primary care, an emerging industry that has seen membership across the U.S. increased 241% from 2017 to 2021. The result is more sustainable patient panels, better work-life balance, and a focus on providing the highest quality preventative care. Now, Hint All-in-One makes launching, running, and growing a DPC practice simple and cost-effective.

“Since day one we have been singularly focused on doing everything we can to ensure the success of the DPC movement and launching the Hint All-in-One solution is an important step towards that goal,” said Zak Holdsworth, Co-founder and CEO of Hint Health. “It has been quite a journey watching the momentum building for this product both prior and post-acquisition, and I’m incredibly excited to see it launched and made available to the DPC community.”

The Hint All-in-One solution combines Hint’s membership management and billing platform, Hint Core, previously named HintOS, with a purpose-built clinical platform and EMR to provide DPC clinicians with everything they need to operate a thriving practice in software. Powering over 3,500 clinicians and 2,000 clinical locations in all 50 states, Hint Core is currently the largest and most robust operating system for DPC clinicians and networks.

“As a DPC physician, I’ve experienced firsthand the frustration technology can create when you feel like you need an IT degree to run your practice,” said Dr. Brad Brown, Medical Director at Hint Health and co-founder of AeroDPC. “That’s why I originally built AeroDPC. Now, seeing what the Hint team has developed with All-in-One, I am excited for clinicians to begin using it, and allowing them to shift the focus back to what truly matters – patient care.”

Hint All-in-One platform is built for practices of all sizes – from startups just looking for the necessities, to practices looking to grow and scale with a platform built for DPC. Available features include:

  1. EMR built by and for DPC physicians
  2. Billing and membership management
  3. Patient onboarding
  4. Patient communications via email, text, phone, fax
  5. Scheduling
  6. ePrescribe & In-house dispensing
  7. Intuitive charting / Visit notes
  8. Lab ordering
  9. Task management
  10. Practice Reporting

Hundreds of practices have lined up for the All-in-One release, eager to join the hundreds that are live on the platform today. With a focus on simplicity, Hint is priced at $275 per clinician, and gives startup DPC practices three months of access post-launch at no cost.
