Withings Devices Integrates with One Drop App for Multi-Condition Employer Program

What You Should Know:

– One Drop and Withings have announced a strategic partnership to integrate One Drop’s AI-powered chronic condition management platform with Withing’s suite of smart medical device. Through this integration partnership, members enrolled in the One Drop employer program can qualify to receive a Withings Body smart scale or a Withings BPM Connect smart blood pressure monitor in addition to the One Drop glucose meter.

– Withings devices integrates directly with One Drop app, allowing members to seamlessly measure and monitor weight and blood pressure alongside glucose, A1C, food, medications, and physical activity. The partnership will also feed the companies’ data collection efforts and power One Drop’s predictive capabilities – currently housing more than 28 billion data points (compared to Omada’s 1B). The program is being rolled out to One Drop employer client’s first and will be DTC in the coming months.

Why It Matters

The connected health tech market is expected to reach $13B in 2021, a 12% increase since last year. The market is hot and crowded – especially in the digital chronic condition management space with players like Omada, Livongo, etc. These app-based digital health companies are battling it out for market share and adding capes and integrations left and right to win the game.

“Teaming up with Withings ensures One Drop employer members have continued access to premium devices, making it easier and more enjoyable to track biometric data like weight and blood pressure,” Brian Kemper, SVP of enterprise solutions. “We expect to collect a significant amount of meaningful health information from connected Withings devices, building upon our unparalleled data wealth and powering predictive algorithms to deliver real-time insights that enable people to achieve health outcomes.”

Availability

This month, One Drop launched the Withings integration with select employer customers. Withings devices will be available to new and existing eligible customers in the coming months as part of One Drop’s multi-condition employer offering.
