What You Need to Know:

PatientKeeper announces the appointment of former Evariant Executive Vice President Phil Meer as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Phil’s experience in implementation, data integration services, client support, product release management, and security and compliance functions will help to guide PatientKeeper through its next phase of growth.

PatientKeeper, Inc. today announced the appointment of Philip Meer as Chief Executive Officer.  Meer brings to PatientKeeper 20 years of experience in customer-facing leadership roles at enterprise software and healthcare IT organizations, and a career-long focus on ensuring customer success and operational excellence.

Phil Meer Background

Prior to joining PatientKeeper, Meer served as the Executive Vice President, Customer Experience at Evariant, a leading healthcare consumer and physician engagement company. Prior to Evariant, he held various business operational leadership roles at Automatic Data Processing Inc. (ADP). Meer graduated Summa Cum Laude from Brandeis University, and earned his MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business.

PatientKeeper’s EHR optimization software solutions streamline clinician workflow, improve care team collaboration, and fill functional gaps in existing hospital EHR systems. Phil’s experience in implementation, data integration services, client support, product release management, and security and compliance functions will help to guide PatientKeeper through its next phase of growth.

“I’m excited to be joining PatientKeeper at a moment of immense opportunity for the company, and for the healthcare industry in general,” Meer said. “PatientKeeper’s strong position in EHR optimization solutions puts the company in an enviable spot to make a positive and immediate impact on improving the clinician experience and on improving overall patient care. Our strategy at PatientKeeper will be to re-double our focus on customer satisfaction, to drive increased velocity in the core business, and to continue to nurture an innovative product strategy.”

With PatientKeeper as the “system of engagement” complementing the EHR, clinicians can easily access and act on all their patient information from PCs, smartphones and tablets. PatientKeeper has more than 70,000 active users today.
