Health Gorilla and Grupo Ángeles Servicios de Salud, a major health system in Mexico, just announced a new partnership to enable interoperability across its 24-hospital system. This creates the largest interoperable network in Mexico and will improve care for millions of patients by making it easy for providers to access all of their health data at the point of care.
As part of this initiative, Grupo Angeles Servicios de Salud will bring together data from multiple disparate IT systems across the organization, including electronic medical record systems, labs, imaging systems, and pharmacies. Providers can view aggregated data at the point of care, while seamlessly and securely sharing medical data with other providers involved in the patient’s care plan. In addition, patients will have access to a mobile app that provides full access to their medical information from anywhere they received care in the Grupo Angeles system.
“Clinical networks like this offer a competitive advantage to health systems by empowering patients and providers with the full scope of medical information, reducing gaps in care and improving patient engagement,” says Steve Yaskin, co-founder and CEO of Health Gorilla. “We are excited to bring Health Gorilla’s platform and point-of-care technology to Grupo Angeles to improve outcomes for millions of patients across Mexico.”
