Apple is launching primary care clinics for the Apple employee population called AC Wellness this spring, CNBC first reports. The primary care clinics will initially only serve Apple’s employees at its headquarters in Santa Clara County where it has two clinics.
According to the site, the two clinics will offer a unique concierge-like healthcare experience for employees and their dependents. The company is advertising on its site, LinkedIn, Indeed and other job listing sites for doctors, health coaches and “designers” to create a program to promote healthy behavior, according to CNBC.
Candidates interested in joining AC Wellness must have an appreciation for the patient experience and passion for wellness and population health — integrating best clinical practices and technology in a manner that drives patient engagement.
