HealthTap
HealthTap
, a global health practice providing 24/7 immediate access to top doctors via video, text or voice has appointed Dan Edmonds-Waters as the new Vice President of Strategy and Global Sales Operations. In his new role, Edmonds-Waters will lead HealthTap’s go-to-market strategy and sales effort facilitating rapid growth and successful deployments in the US and globally.

For HealthTap, the addition of Mr. Edmonds-Waters as the head of Strategy and Global Sales Operations strengthens HealthTap’s focus of becoming the global leader in digital healthcare – helping providers, payors, and governments worldwide. Prior to joining HealthTap, Mr. Edmonds-Waters spent 17 years as a senior executive at industry leader, Kaiser Permanente where he held several leadership roles including VP National Sales Operations, VP Strategic and Capital Planning, and Chief of Staff to the President and CEO. Mr. Edmonds-Waters was a part of the national executive team as the organization implemented multiple core IT systems including Epic’s EMR, Salesforce.com, and a digital mobile platform.

“I have been looking for some time for a company that offers a truly disruptive innovation at scale for healthcare markets,” said Mr. Edmonds-Waters. “Our generation has the opportunity to transform healthcare with technology – improving quality and access, while simultaneously reducing costs. I feel obligated and privileged to do what we know really works. I remain a fan of Kaiser Permanente but I strongly believe that HealthTap, by enabling virtual care in partnership with providers and payers, will lead the next giant leap forward in healthcare. HealthTap offers significant improvements in every part of the value chain in healthcare, changing the lives of millions for the better. It is a really exciting win-win-win scenario and I couldn’t wait to be a part of it.”
