Patient satisfaction company Lumin Medical announced it has acquired the Online Reputation Management (ORM) assets from Implementing Technologies LLC. Lumin plans to integrate the ORM assets into its PatientTrak platform, a web-based tracking system that features cloud-based software solutions that bring visibility to the patient experience before, during and after a visit to his or her healthcare provider. The solution is designed to help healthcare operational and marketing leadership better understand the patient experience, so they can take steps to maximize it.
Understanding Online Reputation Management (ORM)
ORM is specifically designed to monitor, maintain, and improve practice, hospital, and provider reputations across all of the major physician review sites, including Healthgrades, Vitals, RateMDs, Google, YP, Facebook, Twitter and Yelp. . The enterprise solution captures patients’ feedback, so practice managers can obtain insight into their health systems’ physicians’ perceived strengths and areas for improvement. They can then leverage the data and take actionable steps to improve their brand and online presence.
“More and more patients are using online review sites to select their physicians. Therefore, it’s becoming increasingly important for healthcare providers to monitor what is being said about them online. ORM is a great fit with our PatientTrak platform and will allow us to solicit, track and publish patient experience feedback for our healthcare clients,” said James Hermann, President of Lumin Medical. “PatientTrak now has more tools that our clients need to increase their revenue and improve patient satisfaction.”
