QueueDr

QueueDr, a product that fills cancelled appointments in less than 1 minute with no effort required from staff has been named App of the Month by EHR provider, Allscripts for its innovation in patient engagement and care coordination. As part of the Allscripts Developer Program, QueueDr now offers a certified solution for Allscripts TouchWorks® EHR and Allscripts Practice Management that fills cancelled appointments by itself, with no work from office staff.

“QueueDr is a great time-saving tool for staff that will optimize use of each provider’s schedule. More than that, it will be a great patient satisfaction tool. Imagine the effect of a practice using the latest technology to salvage revenue and delight patients at the same time” said Stanley Crane, Chief Innovation Officer at Allscripts.

How QueueDr works:

While running in the background, QueueDr knows when a provider has a cancellation and texts ideal patients already in that provider’s future schedule to fill the cancellation. There are no buttons to push, no separate windows to open, and no downloads for patients. And providers only pay if QueueDr fills the cancelled appointment – salvaging the revenue for the practice. There are no setup fees, so a provider sees positive ROI each time QueueDr works.

Here’s why it matters

On average, 20% of an individual doctor’s appointments are cancelled costing over $100,000 per year in lost revenue. Additionally, the average medical practice:

– Spends 2,000 hours of staff time trying to fill those appointments

– Has patients wait three weeks to see a provider

QueueDr helps fix these issues by filling 80% of cancelled appointments vs. 55% of appointments without QueueDr, in an average time of five minutes or less. This means about an extra patient every day per provider who receives care sooner.

QueueDr will be featured during May 2015 as Allscripts “App of the Month” and will host a webinar for Allscripts users on Thursday, May 28, at 1:00 PM ET. For more information, visit QueueDr on the Allscripts Application Store.
